There's been some inconsistency around that.
It used to be that it was after first ever report you could report online.
Then I started to get rejections citing that the first report after entry each time needed to be in person.
The immigration site also said exactly that (in thai, but not in english).
But now there's no trace of that again, and it just says you can report online 🎉
I guess I'll see what happens in a month when I have to report again.
Though I might need to leave and re-enter to switch to non-b entry visa.

I also would agree it’s inconsistent. I have had it approved and not approved based on the same data inputs 90 days apart so who knows lol

I'd just keep re-applying until they called me and then say it's not my first entry, and they'd normally just approve it.

Hello guys, I am writing for an urgent advice about a complicated situation: we are a family of 3, our visa was expiring on Sept 28, on Sept 26 we was about to leave the country, but 2 days before we realized that our daughter passport was expiring in less than 6 months, so we immediately contacted the italian embassy, and they provided a new passport on Sept 30. Then I went to immigration office to transfer the enter stamp from old to new passport. I got the passport back on oct 2, and on October 3 (yesterday) we was to the airport trying to leave with a 5 days overstay visa, and they didnt allowed us to leave the country. They said we need a visa extension first, so we missed 2 flight until now. Now our daughter's visa expires Wednesday, and we need to find an express way to get an extension for my wife's visa. Do you know about some trusted company that can help us sorting out this complex situation a very quick way?

Haven't been there recently, but read a lot about the situation with Claude.

Short story: you don't want to run Claude Сode/Cowork on your computer while staying/traveling in Russia (and other unsupported countries like China).
If we are talking just about the web version, there are some ways, but the chance of an accidental error there is high.

Buy a dedicated server from Hetzner or OVHcloud (specifically a dedicated server, as they tend to receive "better" IPs). Log in to Claude and run it only from there. An ideal option is a Windows server and a connection via RDP.
Even then, a small risk remains, as Claude may theoretically figure out where you're connecting from. So if you want to be in maximum paranoid mode (which is somewhat reasonable), connect to this server only via VPN (better a personal one).

After that, delete Claude apps from all your devices and clear cookies in all of your browsers.

Regarding Meta ads, it's probably not that harsh, but it can cause similar issues. Same as with many other Western services where money is involved. Two years ago, I had my Wise account blocked even though I never logged in to it (managed to unblock it when I left Russia, but wouldn't want to risk it again).

P.S. And don't forget that sending money to Meta may be considered financing of terrorism in Russia 😁

Better log in to Claude there now and start running something. A sudden switch of a machine+region may also be trigger for a check on its own. If you add another machine while working from the first one, it should be a little bit safer.

In Centro Floripa as well there are similar areas, I ended up going deep following the map to see the mountain-top view. Yes. I had a flight ticket dated 2 days before visa expiration date, papers from embassy demonstrating the kid passport issue, a new passport stamped from immigration office in Hanoi, and even with all of this they denied us to leave.

Together with us there was a guy who had overstayed because his flight to Bangkok was canceled because of flood, denied also him and sent back to immigration office.

At the end I was there this morning with an interpreter used to help people with this kind of issues and now they are processing our case.

From what I understood, what they care about is not you, but the host who allowed you to stay with expired visa, they called mine in front of me

The big problem is that when you run in this situation, at the airport they will not release you any paper, and you get big problems finding a place to stay untill you go to immigration office. In my case it was Saturday, and the landlord of the house where I stayed was refusing us to stay. Luckily, I found a blessed guy who was speaking a good english (he wasn't from immigration office but he helped us communicate with the immigration officer) and we was able to convince him to call our landlord
